While on a yacht charter in Turkey you may want to rent a sailboat and enjoy the view from the privacy of the ship's deck, or you may want to consider hiring the sailboat owner to take you on a private tour. The local people of the area will know many more places to see than you will. They will also know the stories behind some of the places you will see, and if you are lucky you will be sailing with one of these storytellers. You will be able to soak in the visual beauty, while you are soaking in the folk tales, and the history of the area.

Most of the BVI boat tours companies include snorkeling equipment in your boat rental package, so you just need a swim suit. Jump on board and start at the Norman Island Caves. Norman Island is famed for tales of buried treasure and is the inspiration for the book, "Treasure Island." Just off Treasure Point is a series of caves, each more interesting than the last. You'll make friends quickly--schools of yellow tails, blue tang and sergeant majors love to greet cave-goers, and a lot of times, they'll travel with you from cave to cave, like underwater tour guides. If you bring a flashlight, shine it up on the walls to see an orange-red rainbow of corals and sponges--amazing!

Really the only way to get to the best snorkel spots in the BVI is by boat charter. There are 2 different kinds of boat charters. There are the big boats that haul a lot of people, who price their trips "per person," and there is the private charter boats that will take just a small group like you, your friends or family, who charge by "the boat". Obviously, the big boats can be cheaper if there are only 1 or 2 of you, but a family or group of 6 or so friends will find they can get a private charter for about the same price. The benefit to the private charter is that you choose where you want to go and how long you stay at each place. The bigger boats tend to have a set itinerary, plus they can be a little like traveling in a school bus with all the other people.

Will you be able to sail a boat from the school that taught you? When sailing once you have finished your sailing course, you will surely be excited to rent a boat and try out your newly learned skills. It would be best to boat share from the same sailing school that you went to, for the convenience of asking some questions and just in case you get the shimmies you can always revert to your instructors for support and encouragement.

Have you ever considered chartering a boat? You can do an early lunch with a cruise and casual dining and dress or opt for a more formal affair in the evening with a lavish meal and dancing. It is a very cool idea but there are some pro's and con's that you need to consider.

That said, you can do what native try to do in order to live a so-called normal life: you improvise. This is especially true when it comes to trying to get married in relative peace. How else do you explain the recent phenomenon of people trying to get married in more and more remote locations. From beach weddings to mountain weddings to weddings at sea -- the trend tells me one thing: don't get married in LA. Ok, it tells me two things: if you're going to get married in LA and you want any kind of privacy, you should rent a yacht.

Expats are fond of the east because of its close proximity to the beach, and the entire feel of the place. It has a palm tree, sand and sea locality and its main highway is the ECP. This allows a quick drive to work in the Central Business District along a scenic expressway that gives you a view of the ocean and Singapore's city skyline.
